Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Nainital!

Arrive in the charming lake town of Nainital and check into your hotel. Your adventure begins with a relaxing boat ride on the famous Naini Lake. Afterwards, explore the bustling Mall Road – perfect for shopping and trying delicious local food. In the evening, hop on a cable car up to Snow View Point for breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic Himalayas. Overnight Stay: Nainital

Day 2: From Lakes to Almora’s Charm

After breakfast, we’ll head to Almora (about 2.5 hours drive). On the way, we’ll stop at the ancient Nanda Devi Temple. Once in Almora, check into your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring the lively Almora Bazaar and the serene Kasar Devi Temple. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful evening views of the Himalayas. Overnight Stay: Almora

Day 3: Ranikhet’s Peaceful Retreat

Today, after breakfast, we drive to Ranikhet (approx. 2 hours). Here, you’ll visit the lovely Jhula Devi Temple and the peaceful Kalika Temple. Day 4: Kausani: India’s Switzerland

After breakfast, we make our way to Kausani (about 2.5 hours drive). Settle into your hotel, then visit the renowned Anasakti Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi once stayed. Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, it’s time to check out from your hotel. We’ll drive you back to your onward destination or to Kathgodam Railway Station for your journey home, carrying wonderful memories of Kumaon!

How To Reach

Via Flight

The most convenient airport is Pantnagar (Nainital), located approximately 69 km from your destination. Alternatively, you can fly into Dehradun airport (265 km away) and then take a taxi or bus to Nainital.

Via Train

Your railway gateway to Nainital is Kathgodam Railway Station, only about 36 km away. This station is well-connected, making it easy to reach from big cities like Delhi, Lucknow, and Kolkata.

Via Road

Nainital is easily accessible by road, with good connections to Delhi, Dehradun, and other key cities across Uttarakhand. You'll find plenty of buses and taxis readily available for your journey.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your tour for any reason, please inform us in writing.

Cancellation charges per person:

  • 30 days or more before the tour: 25% of the total cost will be charged.

  • 20 to 29 days before the tour: 50% of the total cost will be charged.

  • Less than 20 days before the tour: No refund; 100% of the total cost will be charged.

  • Less than 10 days before the tour: No refund, but you can transfer your booking to a friend for the same tour and batch.


If We Make Changes or Cancel the Tour

We try to avoid any changes to your tour. But sometimes, due to unavoidable reasons (like bad weather or not enough bookings), we may need to change or cancel the trip.

If that happens:

  • We’ll offer you new tour dates (if the tour hasn’t started yet).

  • If the new dates don’t work for you, we’ll give you a full refund.

  • We appreciate your support and understanding in such situations.


Payment Policy

  • 46 days or more before the tour: Pay 25% of the total cost.

  • 31 to 45 days before the tour: Pay 50% of the total cost.

  • 30 days or less before the tour: Full payment (100%) is required.

Note:
Your booking may be cancelled if full payment is not received at least 30 days before departure.

  • All bookings are subject to availability. In case of non-availability, arrangements will be made at a similar property of equivalent standards.
  • Meals provided during the trip will include both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options based on prior requests.
  • Rates are subject to change until the booking is confirmed.
  • Prices may vary during peak seasons such as festivals, public holidays, and long weekends.
  • An additional charge of 15% of the total tariff will apply for one child aged 5 to 12 years.
  • Any special requests, including dietary preferences or room amenities, must be communicated in advance and are subject to feasibility.
  • Cancellation and refund policies will be applicable as per company guidelines.

NOTE: Written cancellation will be accepted on working days (only). Any cancellation sent on a Sunday or any National Holiday(s), will be considered on the next official working day. In the event of any cancellation(s) after trip commencement, there will be no refunds and any costs incurred due to this cancellation will be borne by you. Irrespective of when a trip is booked, the above condition will hold.

  • Avoid Night Travel: Traveling or trekking at night is risky and should be avoided unless specifically planned by the tour guide.
  • Be Cautious with Devices: Avoid using earphones during tours, as it may distract you from important announcements or surroundings.
  • Respect Local Sentiments: Do not harm, mock, or disturb the cultural and religious values of the area you’re visiting.
  • Be Prepared: Carry necessary items such as water, snacks, and emergency supplies while ensuring your luggage is lightweight.
